About PYM

Come check us out!

We are the youth ministry program at East Lake Road Alliance Church in Harborcreek, PA and serve all 7th-12th graders from anywhere who are looking for a safe place to belong.

From our Sunday night large group to Wednesday home groups, we strive to INVITE youth to a lifelong journey in relationship with Jesus, to CONNECT them with other Christians, to help them GROW in their faith, and to challenge the growing to SERVE and HONOR God with their lives.

Living a Christian life isn't easy, but it's better with friends and people to journey together with and we can't WAIT to meet you!

OUR TEAM

Ben Baker
Youth Director
Ben is the guy that provides leadership, direction, oversight and energy to our youth ministry. You will most likely find him at the church working on a project, at the local schools helping with Bible Clubs and watching student events, or making music somewhere.
Jackie Baker
Right Hand (wo)Man
Home Group Leader
Jackie is Ben’s lovely wife and does pretty much whatever is needed. Marketer by profession, you’ll also find her taking care of her two beautiful children and leading our Jr. High small group.
Jeff Mazza
Service Projects
Home Group Leader
Jeff brings the mission-minded focus to our youth programs and helps us find places to serve. When not hanging out with youth and leading Home Groups with his wife, Kristy, you will find him going to baseball games, playing softball, or heading off to serve in Mexico!
Kristy Mazza
Hospitality
Youth “Mamma”
Home Group Leader
Kristy brings the relationship focus into our youth. You will always find her talking and laughing with our youth whether in small groups, large groups, or one-on-one. When not volunteering with youth, she teaches English in the local high school, leads our Women’s ministries, and sings on the Worship team.
Mike Whitney
Fundraiser Guru
Assistant to the Regional Manager
Mike has arguably been around the youth program the longest. With that he brings wisdom and insight that deeply influence the life of our youth. When not volunteering here, you will find Mike leading the Men’s ministries, coaching football or softball, and playing with his kids.
Chris Ward
Audio / Video
Chris is the behind-the-scenes guy who helps get things setup and keeps them running smoothly by running our audio and video. When not volunteering with the youth, you’ll find him fixing things at the church (or home), teaching at a local high school, and hanging out with his wife and their triplets!
Kristen Ward
Home Group Leader
Kristen brings empathy and understanding to our youth program. She relates well with our youth and has been helping lead our Jr. High home group. When not volunteering with youth, you’ll see her teaching children’s classes at church, teaching in a local school, and taking care of her triplets and husband.
Mike Kemp
Drummer Anything guy
Mike graciously filled our need for a drummer when we were starting out and has been a great addition to the team. His willingness to do anything asked of him reflects his love of Jesus. When Mike’s not with PYM, you might see him taking care of his kids, playing drums on Sunday mornings, or playing Chapman stick in Liquid Nixon.
